Chad Baker, an accomplished skater and 2S Skateboarding Brand Ambassador from Calgary, Alberta, is here to make some waves.

Skateboarding has been part of Jordan’s DNA since he was a child, learning to skate in and around his hometown of Calgary, Alberta. Moving to Jasper, Alberta, as a teenager, Jordan had fewer opportunities to skateboard, thanks to even longer winters and more snow. But, the skatelife never left his blood.

In Jasper, Jordan met his better half, Rébecca Paré—the pair eventually settled in Cochrane with their kids and opened Sink or Swim Tattoo Co. in 2017, fulfilling Jordan’s other passion as a tattoo artist and giving Rébecca a creative outlet through piercing.

As a skateboarder, Jordan struggled to find skate shirts and hoodies that were long enough for his tall, slim build...and so the 2S Skateboarding adventure began.

Quality and functionality were of the utmost importance to Jordan and Rébecca as they launched the company. They designed the hoodies and t-shirts to be 2" longer in the torso, slim to the side, and pre-shrunk, allowing skateboarders to move comfortably while pursuing their sport. Designing and sourcing other products followed, always with the end goal of solving problems for skateboarders to make life more comfortable.

As a serial entrepreneur, Jordan is always focused on moving ahead and furthering his skills. The same can be said of his passion for skateboarding, tattooing, and his family.

“Navigating entrepreneurial life while parenting our four kids is a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t change it for the world,” says Jordan.

He’s often joined at the skatepark with his kids, who are growing to love skateboarding just as much as he does.
